Located on the promenade level of the luxurious Hôtel Place d’Armes in Old Montreal, Aix Cuisine du Terroir is above all a restaurant devoted to the enjoyment of local Quebec cooking: offering a blend of delicious flavors and generous portions. The menu, adapted to the seasons, is elaborate, healthy and coveys a love and passion for home cooking. The decor, honored in 2004 by the Montreal’s Commerce Design contest, was the creation of Yves Montpetit from the CAMDI firm: "My experience has shown me that the design is one of the most fundamental aspects of a restaurant’s atmosphere.
