Tokyo is many things to many different people and the official capital of Japan. The home of the Japanese government and the Japanese Imperial Family Tokyo is divided up into 47 prefectures of Japan. Each one of these 47 prefectures of Japan is divided into twenty-three special wards of Tokyo which administrate a city in its own name still go under the name of Tokyo though. Tokyo was the most expensive listed city from 1992-2005 and one of the largest populations of a city with over 8 million people. Tokyo has had their share of tragedies and one of the biggest problems is earthquakes. Earthquakes have given this city many troubles and things are in place in the event if Tokyo gets hit by one two transfer power to one of the outlying cities.

There are so many things to do in Tokyo where you start could be the hardest problem for you. Tokyo is the largest metropolitan economy in the world which means you will find good and services everywhere. People travel the world over just to come to Tokyo to get the newest gadget or gift as the vast array are readily available in Tokyo. Tokyo culture has many things that you will want to look into such as museums and sports are another big thing that people love when they go to Tokyo. One of the biggest tourist hot spots are the media outlets. Anime is very big animation in Tokyo and also here in America. Kids to adults love Anime and Tokyo is the center of the hub for this. People love to see how it's made and even purchase it when they are in Tokyo.

From architecture to zoo's the city of Tokyo seems to have it all for the tourist who is looking for something different they haven't seen in awhile. The best thing that you can say about Tokyo is you will never get bored at they have something for everyone in your family. With a city as large as Tokyo finding time to see everything is tough. The culture is a little different and once you get use to it and see the city people just want more and that is why Tokyo is one of the top travel destinations in the world and will continue to be, and it doesn't look like that will change anytime soon.
