During the late eighteenth century the American Revolution including the Boston Massacre and Boston tea Party took place. Other battles happen such as the Battle of Bunker Hill and the Siege of Boston. Boston also had some firsts in the country such as the first public school and the first college. Many people don't realize this, but Boston is also home to the first subway system in America. Boston was incorporated in 1822.

Culture and architecture is also extremely popular among people who visit Boston. The older buildings have an architecture that you don't see much anymore and people come to see it. With the Boston Pops and many museums available Boston has been getting a reputation as the jewel of the North east. You can see why as there is so much to do in Boston and that people love all the things you can do in this beautiful city. I look for it to just get better as time goes by.
