Aalborg Hotel is a typical family owned hotel with 36 rooms situated right opposite the beautiful Sarphatipark and near the centre of Amsterdam and the RAI Congress Center. The hotel was founded in 1952 and completely renovated in 2001. So you're coming to Amsterdam. You're a respected professional and you're here to work. Or you're here with your friends hoping for the marvellous experience of temporary memory loss. It doesn't matter - what matters is you get everything you need and we're here to get it done, whether it's providing you with free wi-fi, a computer and fax machine or force feeding you sugar water. Oh and comfort. Your mission, if you should choose to accept it, is allowing us to make you as comfortable as possible.
The first step is choosing your room. We'd like to say that all rooms are created equally with love, style and effective use of space. All rooms have your obvious amenities like TV, free wi-fi, private bathroom and an exceptionally cozy bed fit for catnaps to comas. Whichever room you choose, rest assured, you get what you pay for. But equality is a social concept that has always struggled in reality. And let's face it, size matters.
You may accuse us some snobbery, but we boast because we're proud of our neighbourhood. De Pijp (pronounced "pipe") is chock-full of local little gems you won't find in the City Center. You'll also avoid the ruffians and hooligans who invade the more touristic areas. The Pijp is honestly the true Dutch experience. With unique restos, bars, markets, and museums, the hotel's surroundings will show you the Real Amsterdam known by locals.
