The main entrance to the hotel is on Rua Francisco Otaviano, literally just a few steps from Ipanema Beach. The street itself is definitely worth exploring. Walk towards Copacabana all the way to Rio's most luxurious Bingo Casino. Along the way you will pass by a church, two schools, a park, a neighbourhood mall with a host of sports-oriented boutiques and even a tattoo parlor, a top steak restaurant, 2 or 3 botequins (bars with no chairs), an ethnic Brazilian cuisine restaurant. On your left is Copacabana's main street, with excellent shopping,movie theaters, theaters, night clubs,bars, assorted malls, antique stores,restaurants, bakeries and snack bars. The possibilities are endless.

Hotel Arpoador Inn has built a tradition of associating a top location to a friendly atmosphere and very reasonable rates since it opened its doors in 1974. This charming inn has 50 rooms distributed along 6 floors. All rooms have front-desk controlled air-conditioning and are furnished with a two door closet with private safety box, a set of twin beds or a double bed (please specify), color TV with cable channels, and a small refrigerator. Bathrooms are compact and clean. A delicious self-serve breakfast buffet is served until 10:30 at the restaurant on the ground floor, street level to the beach. It can also be served in your room for a small charge (until noon).
