For nearly 80 years Villa Mabapa in Venice has been the favoured choice of guests from every corner of the globe. It is a gracious and charming villa, looking out over Venice Lagoon and immersed in the tranquillity of cedars and pittosporums, and was built, in a late Art Nouveau style, at the end of the 1920s as a private residence. The palazzo today forms the main part of the Best Western Hotel Villa Mabapa, which also consists of two other buildings, Villa Morea and Casa Pradel, connected by a covered passageway and by a large, cool and shady garden.
Behind its wrought iron entrance gate, throughout the year Villa Mabapa welcomes its guests with the warmth and care of the home combined with the elegance and style of a 4-star Venice hotel, managed by the same family for four generations. Some of the rooms of the Villa Mabapa still contain period antique furnishings and decorations, as well as the antique paintings and original furniture of a family that transformed their own house into a hotel; a hotel as a place of peace, grace and excellent cuisine.
70 rooms, very comfortable and welcoming, carefully furnished with taste and refinement, developing the original concepts of comfort and elegance. From the rooms in Art Nouveau style in the central building, with a magnificent view of the Lagoon and St Mark's Basin, to the modern but not standardised comforts of Villa Morea, to the refined and elegant beige and green Deco tones of Casa Pradel, each room offers a pleasant, warm and cocooning atmosphere, made special by rare fittings, antique furniture or simply by the marmorino tones of the Venetian balconies. Every room in the hotel has air conditioning, telephone, satellite TV/radio, minibar, hairdryer, safe, internet connection.
