Hotel V Frederiksplein Description

Hotel V Frederiksplein opened the 1st of March 2008 and is build in four, early 19th century, monumental, apartment buildings. It is located at a brilliant spot in the city center. On the edge of the beautiful Frederiksplein and the trendy Pijp area. There is a taxi stand across the street and four trams stop in front of the door all day taking you everywhere in a short ride. The hotel is at walking distance from the glamourous shops and restaurants in the Utrechtsestraat. The inspiring very multicultural Albert Cuyp market and world famous canals are truly within crawling distance. The Rembrandtplein and Leidseplein, with their spectacular nightlife, are close by. All famous museums and theatres can be easily reached as is the Rai convention center.

Once you enter the large but cozy lobby of hotel V Frederiksplein you will be impressed by the design. It is one big space with different areas. A beautiful wooden V bar/kitchen that serves as breakfast restaurant in the morning will catch your eye. This is where we serve our energising breakfast buffet. In the afternoon and night it turns into a great place to have a V drink or a V bite. You can't miss the cosy lounge with the smooth couch and stunning fireplace. The perfect place to recharge after a day in Amsterdam. Listening to the funky soulful music and sipping at a drink, reading something or checking your mail.

The rubber reception desk and the dark glassed meeting room are both equally impressive. Just as the cowhidewallpaper and the cork floor. But really breathtaking is the view from the whole lobby. Watch Amsterdam life passing you by while sitting comfortably. In the summer the lobby will feel like an inside terrace. All 48 rooms are brand-new and all are unique in size, shape, look and feel.
