How-to get around!

Not everyone wants to rent a car in order to get around for their vacation. Driving is good however it is not safe to do if you have never driven in that particular area. When you are looking for public transport in Brussels you can find the Metro, Trams, buses and that is about all. You may find that you want to walk and that is okay too. When you take the Metro, Tram or bus you may need to purchase and validate a card that allows you to ride the transport without letting you ride for free. When looking to ride the bus or Metro you will want to get the schedule at the station or you can call the office and have a schedule sent to your hotel. Then when you get home you can see when the bus, train or metro is leaving and you can allow yourself plenty of time to catch it. When it comes to walking there are plenty of places to walk up and down the main city and if you don’t want to walk then you do have the option to catch a train along the way. When you walk for a while you may become tired or if you have a disability you may find that it is not possible for you to walk such a distance.
