Not everyone likes to shop but if you are going to Rio de Janeiro you will want to shop. If you want jewelry, shoes, art, clothing, gifts and more you can find it in over 40 different stores. You can even find an outdoor shop called Wollner Outdoor that offers everything you need for any activity outdoors. You can purchase different climbing gear, hiking gear, backpacks and more. When you want to travel the outdoors this is the store you can find it all in. You may find some of the products offered on the beach. Vendors will travel the beaches with their products that they know people will love. The vendors know that the products will sell and the consumer doesn’t have to go far to buy it. In fact, it comes to them. Downtown you may want to check-out all the older shops that still have a lot to offer. Most of the stores will be open Monday through Friday from mid morning until about seven o’clock in the evening. Shops may be open on Sunday for half of the day if they choose. Most of the markets and vendors will only accept cash. If you are going to pay with a credit card you will need to find the shops that accept it. Most of them do but the individual vendors will not.
