When you come to Copenhagen you will want to tour all the major attractions. In order to do that you will need a huge list of places to go. The first place to see is Christiansborg Slot, also recognised as Christionsborg Palace. With the first castle built in 1167 it has seen some very rough days. You can see how Bishop Absalon once lived as he founded Copenhagen and choose to build the first castle. You will also want to see the Open-Air museum, also recognised as Frilandsmuseet. When you get done there you need to head on over to National Museum and also Ny Carlsberg Glypototek. Also see Statens Museum for Kunst. This museum is also recognised as the Royal museum of fine arts. Tivoli Gardens in a huge place to wind up your trip. Visiting the museums is a huge way to learn more about the sight and why it is what it is today.
