How-to get around!

Getting around in Paris is not going to be difficult because there are several ways to choose from. For majority of your touring you will want to walk around so you can enjoy the sightseeing and sounds that make Paris what it is. One of the main public transports are the Metro subway system. This is a fast and safe way to get around Paris. There are 15 metro lines available and they go in different directions. The good news about that is each trains destination is on the last station on the line. You will need to purchase a ticket to have access to this transportation. Then there are RER Trains. These trains go out into the suburb and there are five trains that work on this schedule. You will need a pass in order to ride. Paris public transportation does include buses. The buses usually run all around during the day with the last bus operating around 8-9 o’clock at night. You can also get a cab to take you wherever you want to go in Paris and also there is an airport shuttle service that will help you get to your destination while you are in Paris and it can pick you up when it is time for you to leave.
