There are no shopping malls and busy shopping centers like you would find in majority places. But Marrakech is the biggest shopping area in Mecca. You can find souvenirs and hand made crafts that are available to the public. You can also find several markets available for those that care to venture out in the markets to find what they are looking for. You can find anything possible in Marrakech markets, or souks. The markets are so popular that they organize their markets via the type of product offered. You can find so many different products because the markets are the main way of shopping in this area. Best of all if you are buying at these markets they want you to bargain. They mark the prices up a bit so you will be able to talk down the price. You will leave with a good deal and the owners get their money out of the product. Most shops are open from 9 O’clock in the morning until about 8 o’clock at night Monday through Saturday.
