Find a way to get over your jet lag because there are so many things that you will want to do while you are in Barcelona. Plan to stay at least three days so you can rent an apartment so you will have plenty of room to stretch. You may want to enjoy a nice breakfast at the local café and then start to tour the Sagrada Familia first. This church should be at the top of any itinerary. Take a tour down town to see La Barceloneta. This is a small district and was first created in 1753 for sailors and fishermen. Enjoy the beaches while you are there and then enjoy a delicious fish meal for lunch. In the evening you will want to visit the Olympic Port where you can walk around and view where the Olympic Games took place. Enjoy your dinner here as well. There are plenty of places to eat at that are very good and don’t cost a lot of money.
